Berrie Martens, Treasurer
Born in the Dutch village Chaam on 28 March 1959. His motto "Carpe diem" is typical for the artist and his work;
hedonistic, colourful, positive.At first a young entrepreneur, owner of a modern furniture business.
Looking for new challenges, he decided to change his life in 1994.For some considerable time he had proclaimed his plans to become a painter. In September of the same year he suited the action to the word. With unadulterated enthusiasm he laid down his perceptions in colour.
Martens exhibits his paintings in surprising places. His Burgundian joy of living does not only radiate from himsel...Go to Berrie's events.
Drs. Agathe Rietveld, Chairman
In 1970 the first personal computer was brought into this world.
In the same year, on 26 March Agathe was born.After all these years she calls herself the Personal Promotor of Berrie Martens. After a period of practical training at the sales-department at a Best Western Hotel in Brussels she finished her studies at the Higher School for Economics in Rotterdam where she specialized in economics and linguistics. Just before her graduation she met Berrie.Meanwhile she had already started another study: employment- and organization-psychology at the Katholieke Universiteit of Tilburg. Then she did a work placement at Staffpool Recruitment and Selection in Culemborg. She did research for the Van den Broek & Partners Company in Breda into the development of a feedback-instrument, a subject she also used for her thesis.
Walter Tiemessen, secretaris
Walter Tiemessen (26-11-1956) started his career at the age of twenty as a sports-editor for the Arnhemse Courant. After three years as sports-editor-in-chief for the Nieuwe Krant (Gelderland) he was sports-editor-in-chief for Radio Oost (then Gelderland and Overijssel) for another three years. Then he worked for the TROS as sports-editor-in-chief for radio and television until 1989. Further activities: radio and television anchor- man and reporter for TROS and NOS.
